"The boy"
The boy grew as fast as any
As his parents taught him the meaning of life.
He grew as his knowledge grew
Taking in the lessons as they came, one by one.
And all through his young life he did live
Live with an innocent smile, which danced upon
His young little face.
With his green eyes sparkling like little emeralds
As he laughed and played amongst his childhood friends.
But one day there was a change,
He changed into a teen, drawn into himself
Always brooding and contemplating little matters of life.
Who went to school to learn, not only in the classroom but outside as
well.
And most came to call him kind, for he never had harsh words for any.
But he began to question as he searched in vain for Love
He looked in every corner and closet
Until he found one he could have loved.
However, something happened and that person
Denied him what he thought was his right.
And this little boy with emerald green eyes and welcoming smile
Grew to be long faced and withdrawn.
Thoughts filled his confused little mind leading him from his
forgotten path.
But through all this he was still growing, growing into a man.
And one fateful night he met some people,
This man and his wife showed him that forgotten path.
A path that would lead to life beyond death,
The path of Christ, as some would say.
And yet again, this teen changed,
He is now a man with sparkling green eyes and an innocent smile.
A man full of wisdom, justice, knowledge and truth; all tempered by
A heavenly faith.

"The Gathering"
Dark masses form on a cloud forsaken sky,
A dark churning mist, building with time.
Slowly, yet hastily, moving across the horizon,
A horizon that lets the storm pass us by.

A slight breeze begins to stir,
Kissing fields and pastures as it passes us by
Only hinting at what was fated to be;
A fate that will shake the ancient fir.

Soon the wind picks up,
Brushing a lake as the waves do form
Waves that lick the surf milled shores,
A clear warning of the coming firestorm.

"The Rod"
The Rod, formed in ages past,
Fills the void and misty cast.

The Rod, formed from the ancient Word
Helps those whom which have heard.

The Rod, given to those who obey,
Eliminates all in that forsaken fray.

The Rod, such a divine power,
Breaks those who do not flower.

"The Wind"
The Wind, it blows upon the land
Saving those who wish to believe
The Wind, it whispers upon the sand,
Speaking that truth to covered ears
The Wind, it travels for miles beyond
Binding with joy the thousand tears
The Wind, it blows upon the land
Speaking the Truth that cannot be banned

"He Comes"
He comes with the dawning of the night,
Dancing upon the glory of the light.

He comes, bearing the sword of truth,
Speaking against the shattered tooth.

He comes, riding on clouds of flame,
Whispering a truth which none can tame.

He comes, wearing the helm of salvation,
Breaking all darkness of a nation.

He comes, on the day of the Lord,
Leading us all with His shining Sword

"The Friend"
The friend, with a smile that never fades
Walks with me amidst the glades

The friend, whose kindness knows no ends,
Guides me along those ancient bends.

The friend, whose eyes glitter as diamonds in the sun,
Stands with me against that forsaken gun.

The friend, whose love is unknown to man,
Holds our hearts against the ban.

The friend whose friendship is above all things,
Carries my heart where happiness sings.

The friend, whose friendship does not fade
Walks with me, amidst that friendship glade.

"The Hope"
A new beginning, a forgotten past,
Leaving those memories that cannot last.
A new beginning, the hidden times,
Searching for a life that forever rhymes.

A bright future, a large dream,
Walking the path along a hidden seam.
A bright love, a newfound friend,
Becoming a world born unto a new trend.

A new world, an ancient key,
Guiding a soul, so wild and free.
A new world, a love so fine,
One with which I wish to dine.

A true hope, a belief so pure,
A soul who knows every cure.
A kind Lord, a glorified being,
One who knows what it is Im seeing.

"Victories of Christ"
The Death of a sinless life,
Frees this world of an ancient strife.
The Life of a man so pure,
Frees the hopes of every cure.

The Teachings of a man so wise,
Unveils Satans every disguise.
The Pruning of an ancient vine,
Unveils a power so holy and divine.

The Sign of the hidden ages,
Binds every one of those unholy cages.
The Beliefs born of a thousand years,
Binds all those forsaken tears

"Walking Along"
Walking along a hidden road,
Obeying the ever-divine code.
Walking upon a hidden path,
Never to know His angry wrath.

Walking through a darkened cave,
Following a love that shall ever save.
Walking over a raging sea,
Never having to turn and flee.

Walking upon solid ground,
My Home, I am forever bound.
Walking towards my Kind Lord,
Never having to face the Sword.

"Early in The Morning"
Early in the morning a little child came,
Curing all those who were sick and lame.

Early in the morning a little child cried,
For His death He has ever spied.

Early in the morning a little child gave,
Gave His Life, to keep us from that dark, dark grave.

Early in the morning, upon that final hour,
The little child died, in all His Glory and Power

"A Love"
A love, a life, a belief so true,
Never to keep ones face so blue.

A poem, a dream, a word so fine,
Always to be upon that ancient vine.

A friend, a hope, a world so tall,
Never able to slip and fall.

A being, a man, a soul so pure,
Never to give up that ancient cure

"The Winds of Change"
The winds of change are coming,
Indeed they are here,
Come to bind the origin of a fear.

The times of change are coming,
Indeed they draw near,
Come to bind the origin of a tear.

The winds of change are here,
Indeed they have come,
Bearing the fruits of a plumb

"To Hope"
To Hope, to Believe, to bend ones knee,
Running towards the only Key.

To Love, to Hold, to hug ones Life,
Never having to yield to strife.

To Rise, to Conquer, to draw ones Sword,
Always victorious over the evil horde.

To Hope, to Believe, to bend ones knee,
Running to the One who has set us free.

"A Rising Warrior"
Amidst the bleak and wasted land,
Arises a warrior to make his stand.

Amidst the silence and mist filled sight,
Arises a warrior to the ancient fight.

Amidst the forsaken lands and sea,
Arises a warrior that shall not flee.

Amidst the cold and darkened night,
Arises a warrior of the Light

"There upon"
There upon the written pages,
Lies a key, formed
From the ages.

There upon the written sands,
Arises a soul from the
Ancient lands.

There upon a written soul,
Lies a key that makes
Me whole.

"A Man"
A man looks at the open page,
Singing his song as the storm blows its rage.

A man walks upon the open field,
Carrying his heart as the fruits do yield.
A man watches the open horizon,
Holding his destiny as the world cries on.

A man walks upon the open page
Keeping his love from the coming age

"Upon that Hour"
Upon that hour there was darkness and pain,
Seizing the love of a life giving rain.
Upon that hour there was darkness and fright,
Seizing the one who would bring the light

But after that Ones life had ceased,
Gods Holy Love was released
And upon that hour of darkness and fright,
Gods power was displayed in awesome might

"The Fruit"
The Fruit, crucified ages past
Formed the covenant that shall forever last.

The Fruit, hung upon the ancient cross,
Signifies satans undeniable loss.

The Fruit, nailed to the limbs of a tree,
Formed the covenant that has set us free.

"The Race"
It is with Gods holy might,
That we dont fall in the ancient fight.
And Death oh Death, I laugh in His face
As I complete the last leg of the holy race.

"Opening Up the Gates"
Opening up the gates of Love,
Giving the dark one a great big shove.
Opening up that sea of joy,
Kicking the dark one with his coy.

Closing up those gates of strife,
Holding onto that which brings life.
Closing up the door to the gloomy past,
Embracing a love that shall ever last

(Written from the paragraph) My heart Cries out
An overcoming peace encompasses my soul
Lifting my spirit out of the hole

An overwhelming calm consumes my heart,
Protecting my spirit from the ancient dart

"A Holy Truth"
A World so open, a world so tall,
Teaches a baby how to crawl.

A World so open, a world so fair,
Teaches a baby in its highchair.

A World so open, a world so fine,
Teaches a child how to dine.

A World so open, a world large,
Teaches a child how to charge.

The Teacher so open, the teacher so fair,
Teaches a child about Gods care.

The Teacher so open, the teacher so fine,
Teaches a child about the Vine.

The Teacher so open, the teacher so wise,
Teaches a child about satans demise.

The Teacher so open, the teacher so large,
Teaches a child about the Charge

"A Child"
A child of life, love and peace to be,
Steps to the door that he can see.

A child of joy, happiness and peace to lend,
Glances at the veil God did rend.

A Child of life, love and peace to be,
Steps to the door that has set him free.

"The Beauty of Friendship"
The beauty of friendship surrounds me,
As I float on the misty cloud of a dream.
And the friendship that builds upon an ancient hearth,
Forms a love that proves its worth.

"The Ancient One"
The Ancient one, so loving and fine,
In the darkness His life does shine.

The Ancient one, so pure and right,
In the darkness He brings the Light.

The Ancient one, so holy and divine,
In the darkness His light does shine

"Gazing"
Gazing up at the cloudless sky,
Watching as time slowly passes me by.

Gazing up into that deep blue space,
Seeing the beauty of Gods holy face.

Gazing up at the deep blue sky,
Listening to a birds soft, little cry.

Gazing up into that cloudless space,
Holding onto Gods saving grace

"The Sun"
There, above the shimmering lake,
Rests the diamond God did make.
There, above the rolling hillside,
Rests the diamond of a heavenly pride.

There, above the bare cliff heights,
Hangs the diamond while our world it lights.
There, above the deep ocean blue,
Hangs the diamond in a bright golden hue.

"Creation"
A mountain, a stream, a bare cliff wall,
Following a life that will never grow dull.
A boulder, a lake, a small blue flower,
Following a love that is full of power.

A lake, a valley, an open hillside,
Walking with a life that will ever abide.
A river, an ocean, a field of grass,
Walking with a life that will ever pass.

"Desiring, Seeking"
Desiring a state of total brokenness,
The fleshly nature never to miss.
Seeking a state of self denial,
Standing fearless before Gods holy trial.

Desiring a state of total peace,
The Christ-like nature never to cease.
Seeking a state of total joy,
Standing against that evil coy.

"My Existence"
My heart is gladden with a God so precise,
Knowing that nothing else will ever suffice.
My heart takes joy in a God so Great,
Knowing that nothing else could hold my fate.
And my heart tastes love in a God so caring,
Knowing that His burden will never be wearing.

"He Dwells"
A Friend, He dwells amidst the heart,
Playing the role in the ancient part.
A Friend, He dwells amidst the open times,
Playing a role in the ancient rhymes.

A Friend, He dwells within the vine,
Arising up to the ancient sign.
A Friend, He dwells within the Holy light,
Arising up to the ancient fight.

A Friend, He dwells amidst the field,
Seeing the fruits of an ancient yield.
A Friend, He dwells amidst the open space,
Seeing the glory of an ancient face.

"My Lord"
My King, my God
A life-giving rod
My Christ, my king
The One whom I sing

My Savior, my Friend
A message to send
My King, my Lord
Whom I walk toward

And my Life, my All
To whom I call
My Joy, my Light
For whom I fight.

"An Early Morning"
An early morning mist covers the ground,
As I sit motionless, not making a sound.
An early morning mist covers the fawn,
As I sit in the sight of a sunlit dawn.

An early morning mist blankets the grass,
As I sit motionless, in a mountain pass.
An early morning mist blankets the view,
As I sit in the sight of a sunrise hue.

An early morning mist covers the land,
As I sit motionless, in my Gods hand.
An early morning mist covers the Dove,
As I sit in the sight of a perfect love.

"Christian Warfare"
In the midst of all the confusion,
In the midst of all the pain;
I bend my knee in reverence
That peace would come to stay.

In the midst of all this violence,
In the midst of all this death;
I bend my knee in silence,
That war would go away.

In the midst of all the war,
In the midst of all this fray;
I bend my knee in hope,
That God would have His way.

"A Calling God"
They suggest that you should live in denial,
But Gods been calling you all this while.
They suggest that you should live for hate,
But Gods been calling you to the gate.

They suggest that you should die for self,
But Gods been telling you of His great wealth.
They suggest that you should die in vain,
But Gods been telling you to rest in gain.

"A Tragedy"
Oh the tragedy on that fateful night,
Darkness gloomed and engulfed the light.

Oh the death on that fateful day,
Darkness gloomed and possessed the fray.

And oh, the tragedy on that fateful night,
It looked like darkness had won the fight.

But from the death on that fateful day,
The lamb was pierced for our price to pay.

"The Forgotten Days"
Remembering the days long ago,
Dreaming of all the things that I have longed to show.
Recalling the life that I have long forgot,
Dreaming of all the things that I had ever sought.

Remembering the life of a loving Rod,
Dreaming of all the things that I have in God.
Recalling the Joy of my gentle Lord,
Dreaming of all the things that He can afford.

"Contains a Life"
The truth of an open book
Contains a life that evil forsook.
The truth of a written page,
Contains a life that unlocks the cage

"A Call to Die"
To crucify self with all its passion,
Means to die to the world and every fashion.
To crucify the world with all its sin,
Means to die to self and everything within.

To live a life that is pleasing to God,
Means to embrace the life of a purging Rod.
To live a life that raises you higher,
Means to embrace the love of a cleansing fire.

"A Changing Past"
There, locked with a ball and chain,
I lived a life that was full of pain.
There, locked in a forgotten cell,
I lived a life that would lead to Hell.
But its not where I wanted to be,
I found the Lord who has set me free.
And in that cage of sin undone,
I gave my life to the Fathers Son

"Praising"
Praising my God who has set me free,
Nailed to the limbs of a forsaken tree.
Praising the Lord who has cut my chain,
Nailed to the limbs of a desperate pain.

Praising our God who has sent His grace,
He called us to see the light of His face.
Praising our God who has sent His love,
He called us to be led by a white-winged dove.

"Cleaning"
There is the Lord that I can see,
Cleaning out all that useless debris
This is my Lord, whom I can hear,
Wiping away my every fear.

There is the God that I can hold,
Cleaning up all that fleshly mold.
This is my God, whom I can face,
Giving me strength to run the race.

"My Own Cage"
Standing in a cage of my own imagination,
Staring out across every nation.
Standing in a cage of my own making,
Coming to a new awakening.
For I know my Lord has set me free,
Bearing my life and every key.
And as I call out for His grace,
I see the light of His shining face.

"You Pray"
Waiting for a sign to show you where to go
You pray for the direction that the wind will blow.
Waiting for a love to rend your heart,
You pray to God and complete your part

Waiting for a Life to lead you on the path
You pray for a deliverance from Gods wrath.
Waiting for God to complete your life
You pray to Christ and defeat all strife...

"A silent thought"
A whispered dream and a silent thought,
Living a life for which my God fought.
A gentle faith and a kindled word,
Living a life many view absurd.

"Faith"
The chance to represent a sound call,
I walked through the valley to scale the wall.
The chance to submit my heart to God,
I walked through the valley to embrace the rod.

The faith to move a mountain so high,
I looked to God and heard His cry.
The faith to live this life in love,
I looked to God and received His dove.

"Looking Up"
Here I am, letting go of all my hopes and dreams
Looking up as my Father beams.
Here I am, letting go of all the pain and strife,
Looking up as He gives me life.

Here I am, releasing all that I wish to know,
Praying for the dream that God will show.
Here I am, releasing all that I have to give,
Praying for the life that I choose to live.

Here I am, letting go of all my being,
Looking up to the life Im seeing.
Here I am, letting God make me whole,
Looking up as He heals my soul

"My God"
Sitting beside the still lake,
Knowing that God is not a fake.
Sitting beside the trickling stream,
Knowing that He is not just a dream.

Walking beside the open plain,
Knowing that my faith is not in vain.
Walking beside the shaded hillside,
Knowing that my faith will ever abide.

"Visions"
Visions, they drift through my mind
Like a ship drifts on an ocean flow,
And just as land a ship will find,
I drift wherever His wind will blow.

"y Mind is Worried"
My mind is worried about things to be,
The answers that my heart does long to see.
But I know that if on Him I cast my care,
Then these answers God will duly share.

"I am too Weak"
Lord I do know that I am too weak
To live the life I love I seek
But through your Grace on that Holy Cross
You keep me from a sudden Loss.

"His Grace"
My heart ponders this lovely thing
As I shout the praises of Christ to sing
And into His Love I shall dive
That I might have the chance to be alive.

My heart longs for His Holy Light
As I see the grace of His Holy Might
And into this Grace I shall run
That I might shine like His glorious Son.

"This Rock"
Keep me Lord in your loving arm,
For darkness comes to draw alarm,
And hold me in your caring hand,
For darkness comes to possess the Land.
But this one Rock I do stake,
That which darkness cannot take.
And on this Rock I do pray,
For God to come and have His way

"The Work of Christ"
Through the cold and darkened night
Came a man who brought the light.
And on the dark and cloudy day
Came a man for our price to pay.
But with the death on that holy cross
Satan came to a sudden loss.
And for our souls very sake
Christ died for our sins to take

"The Light of Christ"
Walking through a valley where darkness brews,
I see the light that my heart pursues.
Walking through a valley of death untold,
I see the light that my heart beholds.
And in this valley I come to know
All that Christ came to show,
And that through His life of love foretold,
I may give my heart to Him to mold

"Stands in Front of Me"
In my God will I put my trust,
For the grace to conquer lust?
But though I know He has set me free
This cage of sin still stands in front of me.

"Looking Ahead"
Here I am, looking ahead,
Trusting in the Words that God has said.
And though the future I cannot see,
I know my God will accompany me.

"My Eyes Behold"
My eyes behold this wonderful thing,
As I rise up on an eagles wing.
And as I hold His Loving Hand,
My eyes behold the Promise Land

"The Storm of Strife"
There the horizon stretches before me,
A deep blue sky as far as the eye can see.
And though this ship I do call home,
I know that I do not stand alone,
For the Lord to whom I give my life,
Does stand with me through the storm of strife

"Into that Ocean"
Into that ocean the great ship sank,
The pride of mans heart we have to thank.
And though on the bottom that great ship sleeps,
The pride of mans heart shall ever weep

"I Live"
I live to write and I live to dream
I live for the God that will ever gleam.
I live to think and I live to be,
I live for the God that has set me free.

I live for hope and I live for love,
I live with the promise of a white-winged dove.
And I live for Christ; live for His Name,
I live with the God who took my shame

"As I"
As I strap on that Armor of Light,
I raise the banner and prepare to fight.
As I take that shield into my hand
I raise the banner and prepare to stand.
As I grip the hilt of that Holy Sword
I raise the banner and face the horde.
And as I strap on that Armor of Light,
I raise the banner and see Gods Might

"Making a Stand"
Knowing the power of Gods caring Hand
Gripping it as I make my stand.
Seeing Him who waits at my side,
Never having to run and hide.

Knowing, as the enemy comes at me,
That I have but to bend my knee.
Gripping the Shield and the Sword,
Standing up to face that evil horde...

"Walking Along"
Walking along with my eyes on Christ,
Following a life that will ever suffice.
Strolling along with my eyes on Light
Following a life that is in my sight.

Walking along with my eyes on God,
Following the love of a life-giving rod.
Strolling along with my eyes on Love,
Following the life of a white winged Dove.
